Sigur, Infinity Ward pot spune acum ca orientarea lor exclusivista pe console este justificata. Sa nu uitam insa ca baietii au fost primii care au sabotat versiunea de PC. Sa nu uitam ca din astia 4.1 milioane de pirati, o foarte mare parte au fost potentiali clienti de care IW si-a batut joc scotand serverele dedicate, lean-ul si alte caracteristici PC only.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the absolute winner on the PC and Xbox 360, while New Super Mario Bros. scoops the title of most pirated Wii game of 2009.

 

With 4.1 million unauthorized downloads of the PC version alone, the game more than doubles the achievement of last year’s ‘winner‘ Spore. Modern Warfare 2 leads both the PC and Xbox 360 lists, by a landslide.

 

Electronic Arts a lansat trailer-ul de debut pentru noul Medal of Honnor. Jocul este programat pentru o lansarea in toamna lui 2010 pentru PC, PS3 si Xbox 360.

Actiunea va avea loc in Afghanistan iar denumirea finala a acestuia va fi simpla: Medal of Honor. Jocul este dezvoltat in studiourile din Los Angeles ale Electronic Arts iar partea de multiplayer va fi lucrata de cei de la DICE.

Codemasters a lansat astazi un demo pentru varianta PC a lui DiRT 2, primul joc cu suport nativ DirectX 11. Posesorii de placi grafice ATI seria 5000 vor experimenta efecte vizuale deosebite, posibile datorita integrarii DX11 in motorul grafic al jocului.

The demo enables gamers to compete in two of Colin McRae: DiRT 2’s events. In the Trailblazer event, players take on the ultimate test of rally car against the challenging Moroccan terrain on a point-to-point track filled with flat-out straights and hair-raising hairpins in the Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. In the second event, gamers compete in a Landrush race at the spectacular Ensenada Port circuit set in Baja California, where players go wheel-to-wheel in an 8-vehicle riotous race over lethal bumps and killer jumps in the heavy duty West Coast Choppers Stuka TT.
